I know you have several new ways of authenticating in the works.
jConnector looks great (if I could only get it to work...), and with the possibility now of not having to use the proxy mail addresses, it is becoming a real alternative to the standard way of registering. But in some parts of the world, Facebook is not the best thing to offer. I live in Brazil and Orkut is MUCH bigger her than Facebook. Orkut is part of OpenSocial - these are some of the members: Engage.com, Friendster, hi5, Hyves, imeem, LinkedIn, MySpace, Ning, Oracle, orkut, Plaxo, Salesforce.com, Six Apart, Tianji, Viadeo, and XING. It would make a lot of sense to add OpenSocial to the list of authentication methods if it allows you to do so. I will investigate further and come back with more info.
