Just Refrehes the Page

Hello,
First of all, thank you for sharing this with us! I am trying to get this to work, but all it does it refresh the page for me. Here is what is going on:

I set up the Facebook application, installed the module, and it shows up on my system. (I am using J 1.5.14 with CB installed, and trying to use jConnector 1.1 using FF 3.5). When I first try to connect, it brings up the FB popup like expected. I click the connect button, the popup disappears, but then all it does is refresh my original page (still showing the FB connect button). So I click on the FB button again and now it doesn't even show the popup - just refreshes the page.

When I try the system using IE 7, it's even worse because instead of refreshing the page, it says "Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site Multifamily Insiders - Apartment Marketing | Property Management | Resident Retention | Apartment Investment

Operation Aborted"

This takes me to an IE error page and essentially locks me out of my home page.

The only other issue I previously had was with an Alpha User Points New User system plugin, but once I unpublished it, the previous error went away. Now, I don't have any errors to help me track down the problem.

Any ideas???

same with me, New World Natives, an RoE Community! every time I click on it, it just refreshes my page and logs me out.

Ive been searching for a solution but I cant find, also im not sure if i need to disable any of the components or modules or anything on the site to make it work...


Can someone help me please?

My page just refreshes too when I click the Facebook button. I've checked the steps over and over again and I'm sure I've covered all steps.

Same issue, although I have not tested with IE yet.

hi,
i have installed the jconnector for my site. It is working file with IE & Chrome but giving problem in FF. In FF when you click Facebook Connect button it opens the popup for email & password & after entering these values when you click on login button nothing happens, just reloads the page. after that when you clicks the fb connect button again it refreshes the page only. so login is failed with jconnector.

my jconnector facebook login was working right, but suddenly it started to do exactly what's described in this topic

I had to disable jconnector to get captcha in Kunena forum to work. Jconnector refreshes the forum page 3-4 times so the captcha image gets out of sync and you just get "Code not correct".
