Hi all,
First of all, wonderful idea, and great job is done in making this module. Congratulations to the team. Nevertheless, I am having trouble making the JConnector work with my site. I have Joomla 1.5, and installation of JConnector went pretty straightforward. But, when I enable the component and enter API and secret codes, the module simply does not appear in my site! I checked this forum, and found that I missed to setup “Connection” part in Facebook, but even when I set it up, nothing. Looking the source html that my browser receives, I can notice the presence of the layer containing the module. I am confused. The module should appear on the left side, above the regular Joomla login in site http://www.dentalspa.co.rs. The site is in the Serbian only (no need for Multilanguage dentist site ), but you’ll easily find what I am talking about. Can anyone help me? Why JConnector module is not shown (visible, or whatever). Thanks in advance. |

Sorry, but your site keeps saying "The connection was reset" so I can't check it. I'll check again a little later. Judging from the error description either App key and App secret are not correct (may be you made a typo or haven't fully copypasted them) or key and secret somehow don't reach the page (then this is a bug and I'll fix it).

Ha, I figured it out! I know what the problem is: the browser!
I am using opera, and you are using ieplorer. Your module can’t be seen from Opera. See for your self. I am sending you both screenshots opera and iexplorer. Please let me know when the bug is fixed. Untitled-1.jpg Untitled-2.jpg |

Hi, I am sorry but this is not a jConnector issue. Check this
http://dev.opera.com/forums/topic/285614 So this either Opera or FB connect issue...anyway it's not within my reach. PS. I am actually using FF but the module works fine under IE too. |

One more thing, when someone logs into my Joomla site, I should be able to see that in the Joomla’s backend, as a new (regular) user. Well, instead of email, I can only see something like 897477188@693610678.rnd. What’s the catch? Is that mail regular mail?
